B i o g r a p h y

Adam Gerber is a composer, conductor, and musical director working across UK theatre, touring productions, and film. Recent work includes composing It’s a Wonderful Knife (Old Joint Stock Theatre) and serving as Musical Director and additional composer for Jack & the Beanstalk and Aladdin at the Lyric Hammersmith.
 
His theatre work spans major venues including Shakespeare’s Globe, The Other Palace, Southwark Playhouse, Theatre Royal Bath, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch, and Buxton Opera House. As a composer and musical director, Adam has created new musicals and scores such as Precipice, Terra Nova, Nightshade, Soldier On, and A.L.I.C.E in Wanderlust, alongside productions including Titus Andronicus, A Chorus Line, Urinetown, and Chicago.
 
Film and television credits include Channel 5’s In Their Own Words documentaries (Freddie Mercury and Adele) and incidental music for BBC’s The One Show. A multiple OffWestEnd (Offies) Award nominee and winner, Adam is a former Andrew Lloyd Webber Associate Musical Director at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and is a regular visiting lecturer at Central and Mountview. Based in Glasgow, he trained at the University of Aberdeen, specialising in conducting and composition.
